This variation on our Bourbonic Plague blend, Cherry Bourbonic consists of sour imperial porters, red & blonde ales aged in bourbon & wine barrels for up to two years with Montmorency and Bing cherries, dates, vanilla beans, orange peel, & cinnamon.

Cherry Bourbonic 2022 Tasting Notes
Visual: Dark brown color with some haze, a small amount of light brown foam that quickly collapses & minimal lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate followed with some vanilla, cherry but also prune, alcoholic notes & oak.
Taste: Mild sweetness, moderately sour, slightly bitter, mild lingering sweetness and mild lingering sourness.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, some warming, medium astringency, medium carbonation, somewhat spicy and moderately mouthwatering.
